Who am I?
I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. I play guitar and I would love to pick up piano in the near future! I first started learning guitar at 12 years old, however, I didn’t take it seriously until I was around 16 or 17 years old. I’m super thankful that I had the discipline to stick with it and that God gave me the gift to be able to play.

“Every chapel is like a little glimpse of what heaven is gonna be like and I love that!”
– Lydia Brooks, Member Bill Processing at CHM
Guitar and music in general have always been a great way for me to express myself. A few of my major musical influences are Doe Jones, Jamie Grace, Tori Kelly, Ed Sheeran, and Travis Greene.
My favorite worship song at the moment is “Too Good to Not Believe” by Maverick City Music. This song is a declarative song that expresses all the miracles, signs, wonders, and power of the God we serve. It’s no surprise that my favorite worship artist is Maverick City Music!
What has performing at our chapel service meant to you?
I love being able to come together to worship Jesus in one accord at chapel. There’s so much power in our praise and worship.
As believers, being able to create the space to freely worship our Savior in spirit and in truth is a beautiful thing. Every chapel is like a little glimpse of what heaven is gonna be like and I love that!
My favorite thing about CHM…
My favorite thing about CHM is being able to work with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Together, we’re able to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving our members all around the world.
My favorite scripture…
My favorite scripture is Psalms 150: 1-5.
“Praise the LORD. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with timbre and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals.” (NIV)
