How do you hope to make a difference at CHM? I want to build on what CHM’s social media team is doing well and make our efforts more effective. I want to be known for working hard and being the best employee I can be.

Who most influenced who you are today? My dad drove trucks when I was young and he had a work-hard mentality, but he always made time for our family. There were many days he would come home after long hours on the road, hug and kiss my mom and then play G.I. Joe with me for hours. I recently asked him what he saw as the most important thing to remember when working a full-time job. He said, “Make sure that seeing your wife when you walk through the door and asking about her day is your top priority.” This is now part of my daily routine.

What’s the silliest fear you have? Large, open bodies of water. Have you seen the movie Jaws? Perhaps it’s just the fear of the unknown that scares me.

What are your favorite things to talk about? My wife (because she’s pretty wonderful), new social media trends and movies or TV shows.

What’s your favorite Bible passage and why? Proverbs 3:15 says, “She is more precious than rubies.” The “she” in this passage references wisdom, but I like to use this verse as a daily reminder that as a child of God I’m worth more than any amount of fortune.

What are three movies you enjoy? The Princess Diaries, Matilda and Elf.

Where have you traveled during your lifetime? I recently made a trip out west. I saw the Grand Canyon and zip-lined through the Rocky Mountains. I also explored an extension of the Grand Canyon that’s privately owned by a family of Navajo descent. I can’t wait to go back to that beautiful area someday!

What makes you the most grateful? The older I become, the more I learn to appreciate my parents.
