Position Summary
The IT Analyst role is focused on third-party systems used by CHM. The role assists with the selection of new third-party systems, assists with the implementation of new third-party systems and audits existing third party systems once per year. The role manages some of the third-party systems directly. The IT Analyst role works closely with IT management to help identify best practices and recommendations for third-party applications, improve documentation for the department and ultimately to help end users serve CHM Members as well as possible.

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the IT Manager of Service Desk, the duties and responsibilities of the IT Analyst role include:
- Assist departments and IT with selection of new third-part systems.
- Assist departments and IT with implementation of new third-party systems.
- Perform audit process of third-party systems.
- Manage process documentation and schedule.
- Coordinate with departments and IT as audits are prepared, performed and finished.
- Prepare audit reports that outline findings and make recommendations.
- Coordinate recommendation approval with departments and IT.
- Track recommendation completion.
- Provide primary support and management for some third-party systems that are used Ministry wide or multi-vertical/departmental by CHM (ie. ITGlue, ScreenConnect, Freshservice)
- Assist functional vertical/departments with support and management of some third-party systems (ie. Ceridian, Hubspot, Salesforce)
- Guide teams to create and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the third-party systems.
- Escalate issues that need to be fixed by higher levels of the team in a timely manner but try to research and resolve issues first.
- Offer Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to managers and team members managing projects related to third-party systems.
- Help with vendor management activities for software and service providers.
- Work with other departments and teams as needed to achieve the goals of the organization.

Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma.
- 3-5+ years of professional work experience in technology or another service-related field.
- Ability to work independently but also in and with a variety of teams.
Core Competency Requirements
- Knowledge of industry best practices and experience with both hardware and software systems.
- Good report writing and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of databases, data processes and data security.
Preferred Competency Requirements
- Knowledge of databases, data processes and data security.
- Experience with backup and restore solutions.
- ITIL Foundations certification.
