Maternity Care Team Supervisor (MCT)

Position Summary

The Maternity Care Team Supervisor serves under and reports to the Vice President of Program Services. This position provides coaching, guidance, and support to Maternity Care Specialists, Data Entry, Authorization, Member Advocate, Personal Responsibility Internal Auditors, and Member Reimbursement personnel to fulfill the larger mission of Christian Healthcare Ministries. This individual must be Christ-centered, and a leader focused on the continued growth of individual employees and CHM, recognizing that the overall health and growth of the ministry are directly related to those who serve it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set clear performance goals that align with the mission of CHM.
  • Provide constructive criticism when necessary to further the development of the Team Leads/employees.
  • Hold regular one-on-one meetings with Team Leads, providing both praise and areas for improvement.
  • Address problems with work quality and issues between employees in an effective and Christ-like manner.
  • Monitor error reports and provide them to the appropriate Team Leads.
  • Serve as a link between employees and upper management.
  • Conduct performance reviews, motivate team members, and create strategies for continued individual growth.
  • Manage payroll software including approving timecards, addressing missing punches, work shifts, and managing call-off and vacation calendars for MBP employees.
  • Train Team Leads on their role in the payroll software.
  • Communicate necessary information effectively between departments.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Collaborate with other departments for ministry-wide development.
  • Organize regular team-building events.
  • Assign placement of new employees for MCT.
  • Participate in the development of MCT policies.
  • Maintain various spreadsheets to monitor individual and department productivity.
  • Assist the VP in various day-to-day tasks.
  • Maintain spreadsheets to monitor needs coming to the ministry to project staffing needs.
  • Closely monitor backlog reports and make necessary staffing adjustments.


  • Previous management/leadership experience.
  • Highly motivated.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications or additional training in leadership, management, or healthcare administration are a plus.
