With our Prescription Care Solution, you could save up to 80% on your medication costs! By using tools like the ones we provide in the Member Portal, you can find the cheapest prescription costs in your area and lock in those low prices with coupons, membership cards, and more. The best part? It’s all free and easy to use.

Incident-related prescription costs (up to the first 90 days of treatment) are eligible for sharing for all CHM programs. However, prescriptions used for maintenance treatment cannot be shared by CHM members. For more information about prescription sharing, and to learn more about what prescriptions are eligible, please view the CHM Guidelines.

While incident-related prescription costs (up to the first 90 days of treatment) are eligible for sharing with all CHM programs, prescriptions used for maintenance treatment are not eligible for sharing. However, with the tools we provide through our Prescription Care Solution (PCS), members can start saving today on their prescriptions and focus on healing! They can also take advantage of these quick tips:

• Use more than one of the PCS tools listed.
• Ask your doctor for the generic brand of your prescription.
• Search for your prescriptions before you even leave your house to find the cheapest prices and best locations.
• Give the pharmacist multiple savings cards to see which one gets the best price.
• Send the free coupons to your phone to lock in low prices.

Through our Virtual Care Solution, powered by HealthTap, your primary care physician can write prescriptions for your needs, which helps you save on doctor visit costs! Should your HealthTap doctor feel that a prescription is necessary, they’ll electronically transmit your prescription immediately to your selected pharmacy where it will be filled per the pharmacy’s standard protocol. We always recommend checking with the pharmacy to see when it’ll be ready for pickup.

There are some medications that are always prescribed in person and cannot be prescribed by HealthTap doctors (or any other doctor seeing a patient online). These include opioids and other controlled substances (such as Adderall), and some psychiatric and lifestyle drugs.

It’s important to note that only incident related prescriptions are eligible for sharing per the CHM Guidelines (in accordance with your selected program). You can submit any eligible medical bills to CHM for sharing after your appointment.
