“CHM is absolutely authentic”, Katelyn Cochran, Belmont, North Carolina

When I found out I was pregnant, I was nervous but excited. The maternity program was a strong factor in my decision to join CHM: Now, more than a year after joining, I would experience it.

I was nervous for another reason, too. Between the birth of my first and second daughters, I miscarried three babies. These occurred before we joined CHM, and each miscarriage cost us about $5,000 to $8,000 out-of-pocket. We hardly had the money for that, and it was so deflating to be thrust into financial hardship again and again as we were grieving the loss of our children.

However, with CHM, it was a different story. Our CHM family shared 100 percent of our eligible medical expenses for our new baby, Dottie. Furthermore, I had no complications with my pregnancy, for which I am so thankful.

Working with CHM is a pleasure. I love that CHM is a Christ-centered ministry that values human life. Anytime we had to call, the phone was answered by a friendly and helpful staff member. 

I also got to witness the love of CHM through a friend and fellow member who had a very complicated pregnancy. Not only was her sizeable medical bills shared, but she and her husband also received cards and notes of support from perfect strangers who were praying for them. CHM is absolutely authentic and will see you through even the most unforeseen situations.

I’m happy to say that God saw us through the valley of miscarriage, and I’m thankful that He has allowed us to have three daughters on earth with us now!
