In the past two years, it seemed our lives bounced from hard situation to hard situation. We were victims of embezzlement and came very close to losing our business. On top of having to sell our home to save our livelihood and provide for our needs, my husband, Andre, was experienced chest pains.
He finally mentioned it to his doctor, who ran a stress test. It showed that he had blockage in four arteries and needed an immediate quadruple bypass surgery: a major heart attack was pending. This surgery saved his life. It’s God’s mercy that they found it before he had a heart attack and suffered severe damage or even death.
The total of his medical bills came to nearly $100,000. We asked for discounts, and CHM members generously shared all that remained.
When the reimbursement check came, enabling us to pay off Andre’s healthcare providers, we were overcome with gratitude for our CHM family. We needed you and you were there, as the Body of Christ, to help us and to carry our burdens. Words are so inadequate to say what is felt in our hearts. We thank you.
