Bernice Dole

What’s your favorite childhood memory? Growing up I really enjoyed listening to my grandmothers and my mother play Christmas carols and hymns on the organ.

When did you come to know Christ? My grandparents regularly took me to church. One day when our pastor read 1 Corinthians 13:4-13, I knew I wanted to experience the true meaning of love. I accepted Jesus as my savior that day.

What is your favorite Scripture? 1 Corinthians 13:4-13: It’s a continual reminder of how much Christ loves me, and it has become the example by which I try to live my life.

Where did you work before joining the CHM staff? I worked at the Doylestown, Ohio PNC bank location for 10 years, having served as a PNC employee for a total of 19 years.

Where is your favorite place? Sitting in a lifeguard chair, watching the sun rise over the ocean at Buckroe Beach in Virginia!

Jackee Wheeland

Where did you grow up? I was raised in the cities of Wadsworth and Norton, Ohio.

When did you become a Christian? My testimony is in two parts: when my mother passed away, I began to follow the Lord; then, when my brother suffered a motorcycle accident, that difficult time made my faith grow even stronger.

What do you most enjoy about working at CHM? There are so many reasons I feel blessed to serve here, so picking one is very hard. However, the one I’d choose is that I work with such kind-hearted people.

What is the greatest challenge you’ve overcome in your life? The loss of my mother.

What three traits define you? Honest, hardworking and kind.
