With warmer spring weather, it’s exciting to be more active. With increased activity comes an increased possibility of injury. Whether you experience tennis elbow or a torn ligament, it’s encouraging to know that CHM offers significant physical therapy provision for Gold-level members.
It’s important to understand the ministry’s physical therapy Guidelines before pursuing treatment. To qualify for up to 45 sessions of therapy per eligible injury or sickness, your therapy must be prescribed by a medical doctor before your first session. Additionally, therapy must be performed by a licensed therapist.
Direct-access therapy (or self-prescribed therapy) cannot be considered for sharing. The CHM Guidelines has a helpful list of eligible and ineligible therapies.
